Today, my 17 year old daughter told me she was going to bake a cake. When she finished she offered me one and it was crunchy. I asked her why and she said the recipe said to put eggs in. She put them in whole. FML
で「今日、17歳の娘がケーキを焼くと言ってきた。出来上がって私に一つくれたがそれはバリバリした。どうしてか聞いてみると、レシピには卵を入れろと書いてあったと娘は言った。娘はそれを丸ごと入れたらしい。　*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my 17 year old daughter で「私の17歳の娘」となります。

told me (that) she was going to bake a cake で「ケーキを焼くつもりだと私に言った。」ですね。

she offered me one で「彼女はひとつ私にくれた」です。
offer は「申し出る、提供する、いかがですか？という」という意味の動詞です。
例：May I offer you something?「何かいかがですか？（機内などで）」

crunchy は「バリバリ音がする」という意味の形容詞です。卵の殻の歯触りですね。
動詞形は crunch クランチ「バリバリと音を立てる」バリバリ、ザクザク、ぼりぼりという音に当たります。
例：crunch a rice cracker「せんべいをバリバリ食べる」、crunch along the gravel「砂利道をザクザクと歩く」
ちなみに、サクサクした触感は、crispy クリスピーです。

I asked her why で「どうしてかと聞く、なぜかと聞く」ですね。

the recipe said to put eggs in で直訳すれば「レシピが卵を入れろと言った」ですが、この場合の said は「～と書いてある」という意味になります。
例：as the report said「報告書に書かれているように」
put eggs in で「卵を入れる」です。

She put them in whole で「彼女はそれを丸ごと入れた」です。
in whole は「丸ごと、そのまま丸ごと」という意味の副詞です。
例：coffee in whole bean「挽いていないコーヒー豆」
卵なので、殻ごと入れたということですね（笑）

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
