常に死を意識すること。

It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away.
で「死は、新しき者に道を譲るよう、古き者を一掃する。現時点では新しき者とはあなた達だ。しかしそう遠くないいつの日か、あなた達は次第に古き者となっていき、一掃される。」という意味になります。

It clears out the old to make way for the new で「それ（死）は年をとった者ものを一掃する、若い人たちに道をゆずるために」です。
clear out で「～を一掃する、きれいさっぱり空にする、空っぽにする」という意味の句動詞です。
例：clear out the attic「屋根裏部屋を一掃する」
the old とは「古き者、年をとった者」です。
the + 形容詞で「～な者」という意味が作れます。
to make way for the new で「新しき者達に道をゆずるため」です。
make way for ～ で「道をゆずる」という意味になります。
例：make way for a younger generation「若い世代に道をゆずる」

Right now the new is you で「現時点では新しき者とはあなた達だ」です。

but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away で「しかしそう遠くないいつの日か、あなた達は次第に古き者となっていき一掃される」です。
someday not too long from now で「今からそう遠くないいつの日か」です。
not too long で「それほど長くない、それほど時間的に遠くない」という意味の言い回しです。
例：not too long ago「それほど昔でもない」

gradually become the old で「次第に古き者になっていく」です。
gradually は「次第に、だんだんと、徐々に」という意味の副詞です。頻出ワードです。
例：gradually changed「次第に変化した」

and be cleared away で「そして一掃される」です。
clear away も clear out とほぼ同じ意味ですが、「片付ける、退去させる」などと言う意味合いです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

それ（死）は古き者を一掃する

新しき者に道をゆずるために

Right now
現時点では

しかし
