で「木曜の夜、ソロ：スターウォーズストーリーのワールドプレミア開催地ハリウッドに、いつもより多い悪党たちが集まった。この作品は密輸業者ハン・ソロの若き日の物語で、オールデン・エアエンライクを主演として起用している。」という意味になります。

play host は「ホスト役をする」で「客をもてなす、開催地となる」という意味の言い回しです。
パーティーなどを主催して客を迎えるという意味です。

a few more scoundrels than usual なので「いつもよりもちょっとだけ多い悪党たち」です。
今回の映画が、密輸業者というアウトロー稼業のハン・ソロの物語なので、そのファンたちということですね。
scoundrel スカウンドロォで「悪党、ごろつき、ろくでなし」です。
例：veriest scoundrel「極悪人」

world premiere は「世界で初めての上映、試写会」という意味です。
premiere の発音はプリ・[ミ]ァーとなります。

The film tells the story of the early years of smuggler Han Solo で「この映画は密輸業者ハンソロの若き日の物語だ」です。
tell the story of ～ で「～の話をする、～の物語を語る」です。
the early years of ～ で「～の若いころ、～の初期」という意味の言い回しです。
smuggler は「密輸業者」です。
動詞形は、smuggle ス[マ]グォ「～を密輸する」です。
例：smuggle a gun「銃を密輸する」

and stars Alden Ehrenreich in the title role. で「そしてオールデン・エアエンライクを主演として起用している」です。
star はこの場合は動詞（verb）で「～を主役として使う」となります。
例：starring actor「主演俳優」
in the title role も「主役として」という意味です。
title role は「タイトルの役、題名役」という意味で「主役」となります。
