Leaders hold a position of power or authority, but those who lead inspire us. Whether they’re individuals or organizations, we follow those who lead, not because we have to, but because we want to.
で「リーダーは力や権力の座を占める人です。しかし導く者とは私たちにひらめきを与え鼓舞します。彼らが個人だろうと組織だろうと、私たちはそうしなければならないからではなく、そうしたいから、導く者についていくのです。」という意味になります。

前回の続きです。
leader と those who lead がいて、それらは違うものだということでした。

Leaders hold a position of power or authority, で「リーダーは力や権力の座に就いているものだ」です。
hold a position of ～ で「～の座に就く、～の座を占める」という意味の表現です。
power and athority で「権力と権威」です。
power は「力、権力」という意味です。
authority アソーリティーは「権力、権威、支配権」という意味です。

but those who lead inspire us. で「しかし、導く者は私たちをインスパイアする」です。
inspire インス[パ]イアーは「～にひらめきを与え鼓舞する、意欲を引き出す」という意味の動詞です。
名詞形は inspiration インスピレイション「ひらめき、霊感・啓示、創造性、思いつき」
例：inspired leadership「天性の指導力、神がかり的なリーダーシップ」

Whether they’re individuals or organizations, で「それらが個人であろうと組織であろうと」です。
whether ～ or …, で「～だろうが…であろうが」です。

we follow those who lead, not because we have to, but because we want to. で「私たちは導く者に付き従う、私たちがそうしなければならないからではなく、そうしたいから」です。
not because we have to, but because we want to. は not ～, but …「～ではなく、…だ」の形ですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

Leaders hold a position of power or authority,
リーダーは権力と支配の座に就く人だ

but those who lead inspire us.
しかし導く者は私たちに啓示を与え鼓舞する

Whether they’re individuals or organizations,
個人であれ組織であれ

we follow those who lead,
