Much better for everybody to go off by themselves, generate their own ideas freed from the distortions of group dynamics, and then come together as a team to talk them through in a well-managed environment and take it from there.

で「みんなが一人になって、集団力学のゆがみから解放された自分独自のアイデアを生み出す方がずっといいのです。そしてその後で、チームとして合流し、よく管理された環境の中でそれを議論し尽くして、またそこから各自が引き継いでいくのです。」という意味になります。

Much better for everybody to ～ で「皆が～するほうがずっといい」という意味になります。
(It is) much better ～ とit is が省略された形です。
much better で「ずっといい、よりいい」です。
much は比較級を強調して「ずっと、さらに、だいぶ」という意味です。
比較級を強調する表現は他にも、
far better や way better, even better などがあります。

何をするほうがいいのかというと、
(to) go off by themselves で「自分一人で離れる、一人になる、単独行動をする」です.
by oneself で「一人で」という意味になります。
そして、
generate their own ideas で「自分自身の考えを生み出す」です。
generate ジェネレイトゥ「～を生む、発生させる」です。
generate an idea で「アイデアを生む」です。

(ideas) freed from the distortions of group dynamics で「集団力学のねじれから解放された（考え）」です。
freed は free「～を自由にする」の過去分詞形で「自由にされた、解放された、～の影響を受けていない」という意味です。
freed from the distortions of ～ なので「～の捻じ曲げから影響を受けていない」となります。
distortion は「捻じ曲げること、ゆがみ」です。
動詞形は distort ディス[ト]ートゥ「捻じ曲げる、ゆがめる」
例：distort shape of ～「～の形をゆがめる」
the distortions of group dynamics で「集団力学のゆがみ」です。
集団の中で、一番影響力の強い人の意見が優先されてしまうという事でしたね。

and then 「そしてその後で」

come together as a team で「チームとして合流して」
to talk them through in a well-managed environment で「それらをしっかり話し合うために、良く管理された環境で」です。
talk ～ で「～について議論する、協議する」です。
talk ～ through なので「～を最後までしっかり話し合う」となります。
talk ～ out とも言えます。
in a well-managed environment で「よく管理された環境で」です。
（集団力学の影響が及ばないように）管理された環境という事ですね。

and take it from there. で「そして、それをそこから（各自が）引き継ぐ」です。
take it from there は「そこからまた改めて考える」という意味の決まり文句です。
まずは一旦そこまで行ってみてから次の策を考えましょう、という意味合いになります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

各自一人になって

generate their own ideas
自分自身の考えを生み出す

freed from the distortions of group dynamics,
集団力学のゆがみから解放された（考えを）

and then
そしてその後で
