で「そしてそれが合理的人間中心主義の始まりです。創造性は完全に個々人そのものから来るものだと、みなが思い込み始めました。そして歴史上はじめて、あちこち芸術家のことを、ジーニアスが憑いているじゃなく、（その人自身が）ジーニアス（天才）である、と人々が言うのを耳にするようになります。」という意味になります。

And it’s the beginning of rational humanism, で「そして、それが合理的人間中心主義の始まりです」です。
rational humanism で「合理的人間中心主義」です。
rational は「合理的な、理性的な」です。
この場合の humanism は「人間中心主義」です。超自然的な力や権威よりは、人間の尊厳や理性を重視する立場です。
ヒューマニズムというと「人道主義、博愛主義」という意味合いで日本では使われますが、
その意味合いでは humanitarianism ヒューマニタリアニズムの方が近いです。

and people started to believe (that) ～ で「そして人々は～ということを信じ始めた」です。
何を信じ始めたかというと、
(that) creativity came completely from the self of the individual で「創造性は、完全に～から由来する、個々人そのものから」です。
come from ～ で「～から来る、～に由来する、～からもたらされる」です。
the self of the individual で「個人そのもの」です。
the individual で「個々人、個々の人間」です。

And for the first time in history, で「そして歴史上はじめて」

you start to hear people referring to ～ で「あなたは耳にし始める、人々が～のことを言うのを」です。
hear は「聞こえる、耳にする」です。
知覚動詞 hear ～ doing で「～が…しているのを聞く」となります。

as being a genius で「ジーニアスであるとして」です。

rather than having a genius で「ジーニアスを持っているというよりも」です。

ルネサンス以前はジーニアスは人に憑く精霊だったが、ルネサンス後は、人そのものがジーニアスと呼ばれるようになったという事です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
