で「『もしこの作品をもっと良くしたいなら、姿を現して自分の役割を果たしてちょうだい。でももしあなたがそうしないなら、いいわね、私は知らないわよ。私は仕事だからとにかく書くけど。私が今日ちゃんと仕事をしたって記録しておいてね。』」という意味になります。

If you want it to be better, ～ で「もしあなたがそれをもっと良くしたいなら、～」です。
want ～ to … で「～に…して欲しい」という意味の言い回しです。
例：I want you to do me a favor.「お願いを聞いて欲しいんだ。」
ここでの it は今執筆中の作品の原稿（the manuscript）のことを指しています。

you’ve got to show up and do your part of the deal. で「あなたは姿を現して、あなたの仕事の受け持ち分をしなければならない」です。
have got to ～ で「～しなければならない」という意味の口語表現です。
have to ～ と同じ意味です。
show up は「姿を現す、その場に現れる、～にやってくる」です。
and do your part of the deal で「そして、あなたの仕事のパートをやる」です。
your part of the deal で「その仕事のあなたの割り当て分」です。
deal は「取引、（配られた）手札」という意味ですが、ここでは deal で「（やるべき仕事の）受け持ちの量」です。
例：their regular deal「彼らの通常の仕事」、a great deal of work「大量の仕事」

But if you don’t do that, ～ で「でも、もしあなたがそうしないなら、～」
you know what, the hell with it. で「いいわね、もうどうなっても知らないから。」です。
you know what は「あのね、いいね、ねえねえ、いい？」という意味の決まり文句です。
最新情報を伝えようとするときなど、相手の注意を喚起するために用いられます。
the hell with it で、こちらも「どうなってもいい、しったこっちゃない」という意味の慣用句です。
無関心・失望・軽蔑などを表します。

I’m going to keep writing anyway で「私はどっちみち書き続ける」
because that’s my job.「それが私の仕事だから」です。

And I would please like ～ で「そして、～が欲しいんですけど」です。
I would like ～「～をいただきたいのですが」に please「どうか」がついた形です。

the record to reflect today that ～ で「今日～という事を示すための記録」です。
the record to ～ で「～するための記録」といういことです。
reflect that ～ で「～という事を反映する、～と言うことを示す」です。

(that) I showed up for my part of the job. で「私が自分の仕事をしに来た（こと）」を示す記録という事です。
要するに、何はともあれ私はやるべき仕事をした、という事を覚えておいて欲しい、という事ですね。
show up for ～ は「～に姿を現す、～にやってくる、～に出席する」という意味の句動詞です。
例：showed up for practice「練習に来る」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

If you want it to be better,
もしそれをもっと良くしたいなら

you’ve got to show up
姿を現してくれなきゃ

and do your part of the deal.
そして自分の役割を果たさなきゃ

But
でも

if you don’t do that,
もしそうしないんだったら

you know what,
いい？
