And I came back the next day and we opened the can and we took out these amazingly beautiful polished rocks. The same common stones that had gone in, through rubbing against each other, like this, creating a little bit of friction, creating a little bit of noise, had come out these beautiful polished rocks.

And I came back the next day and ～ で「そして、私は次の日戻ってきた」です。
石の研磨機が稼働している老人宅の納屋にです。

and we opened the can「そして私たちはその缶を開けた」
and we took out these amazingly beautiful polished rocks. で「そして私たちは取り出した、驚くほどに美しい研磨された石たちを」です。
take out ～ で「～を取り出す」です。
amazingly beautiful で「驚くほど美しい」となります。
polished rocks で「研磨された石」です。
polish は「磨いて艶（つや）を出す」という意味の動詞です。
例：rice polisher「精米機」

The same common stones that had gone in で「（昨日）入ったあの平凡な同じ石たち」です。
The same common stones で「その同じ平凡な石たち」です。
(that) had gone in「（その石は）入れられていた」です。
go in で「入る」です。

had come out these beautiful polished rocks. で「このように美しい研磨された石になっていた」となります。
come out ～ で「結果～となる」という意味の言い回しです。
turn out とも言い換えられます。
had come ～ と過去完了形になっているのは、缶の蓋を開ける前に「すでにそうなっていた」という意味合いを出すためです。

以下は、挿入部分で、
through rubbing against each other, で「お互いにこすれ合うことを通して」です。
rub は「すれる、こする、磨く、擦り合わす」といった意味の動詞です。
例：rub oil on the skin「肌にオイルを擦り込む」
like this,「このように」と、映像では手のジェスチャーで表現している様子が見れます。
creating a little bit of friction, で「ちょっとした摩擦を生みながら」
friction は「摩擦」です。また比ゆ的に「（人間関係の）軋轢、不和」という意味にも使われます。
例：friction among family members「家族内での衝突」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

次の日、私は戻って

and we opened the can
私たちはその缶を開けました

and we took out these amazingly beautiful polished rocks.
そして驚くほど美しい研磨された石たちを取り出しました

The same common stones that had gone in,
投入された全く同じ平凡な石たちが
