本日の例文

TED-Edより「Can you solve the prisoner hat riddle?（囚人の帽子クイズに挑戦）」です。

You will not be able to look behind you or step out of line. Each of you will have either a black or a white hat on your head assigned randomly, and I won’t tell you how many of each color there are.

You will not be able to look behind you or step out of line. Each of you will have either a black or a white hat on your head assigned randomly, and I won’t tell you how many of each color there are.
で「あなたたちは後ろを見たり列から外れたりすることはできません。皆さんはそれぞれランダムに割り当てられた黒か白の帽子を頭にかぶせられます。そして白黒それぞれの帽子がいくつあるかは教えません。」という意味になります。

エイリアンの通訳からのメッセージの続きです。

You will not be able to look behind you or step out of line. で「あなたたちは～することができません、後ろ見たり、列から外れたり」です。
you とは、あなたと9人の捕らえられた人間たちのこと。
look behind you で「あなたの後ろを見る」
step out of line で「列からはみ出る」です。

Each of you will have「あなたたちはそれぞれ～を持つことになる」
either a black or a white hat で「黒か白のどちらかの帽子を」
on your head「頭の上に」です。
assigned randomly は「ランダムに割り当てられた（帽子を）」

and「そして」
I won’t tell you ～「私はあなたたちに～を伝えません」です。
how many of each color there are. で「それぞれの色がいくつかるかを」です。
each color「それぞの色」は白と黒の帽子のことですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
