Today, I bought some bitter-apple spray to stop my puppy chewing on everything. Later, I found out how effective it was, when I tried to eat a sandwich, and gagged at the horrifying taste on my hands. My dog seems unaffected, and continues to chew the table legs. FML
で「今日、家の子犬がいろんな物をかじるのを止めさせるためビターアップル・スプレーを買った。その後、それがどれほど効果的かを知った。サンドイッチを食べようとした時に、手に着いたその味にウエッとなって。うちの犬には影響がないようで引き続きテーブルの足を齧っている。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I bought some bitter-apple spray で「私はビターアップル・スプレーを買った」です。
bought [ボ]ートゥは buy「～を買う」の過去形。
bitter-apple は、リンゴから抽出した天然苦味成分を利用したペットのしつけ用スプレーです。
to stop my puppy chewing on everything. で「家の子犬があらゆる物を齧るのを止めさせるために」です。
stop ～ from …ing の方がより標準的な用法ですが、stop ～ …ing もカジュアルな場面では使われます。
chew on ～ で「～を噛み続ける」です。比ゆ的に「～について熟考する」という意味でもよく使われます。
後半で chew the table legs と出てきますが、
違いは chew on ～ と「on」があることでかじる行為が繰り返される感じが強調されています。

Later,「後に、その後」
I found out ～「～だと知った、～だと分かった」
how effective it was, で「それがどれほど効果的か（を知った）」です。
it は bitter-apple spray を指しています。
when I tried to eat a sandwich, で「私がサンドイッチを食べようとした時に（知った）」です。

gagged at the horrifying taste on my hands. で「私の手に付いていたそのひどい味にウエッとなった」です。
gag at ～ で「（嫌な味や匂いなどで）～に吐き気を催す、息がつまる」です。

My dog seems unaffected, で「家の犬には何も影響がないようだ」です。
seem ～ で「～のように見える、～のように思われる」
unaffected で「影響がない、影響を受けない」
un-（否定）+ affected「影響を受けた」
, and ～「そして～」
continues to chew the table legs. で「テーブルの脚を齧り続けている」です。
