FML で「今日、私はいよいよ最初の仕事を始めた。同時に私は失職した。なぜなら、私があまりにも熱心すぎて職場の同僚たちが怠けているように見えるようにしてしまったから。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。 I finally started my first job で「私はいよいよ最初の仕事を始めた。」です。 就職して最初の仕事(初日)を始めたという意味です。 finally は「ついに、やっと、いよいよ、ようやく」という意味合いの副詞です。 I also lost it で「同時に私はそれを失った(失業した)」です。 lost it の it は job のことですね。「失職した」ということです。 lost one's job で「失業する」という意味になります。 for being too "enthusiastic" and making my fellow employees look lazy で「あまりにも熱心すぎたため私の職場の同僚が怠けて見えたために」です。 この場合の for は「~だから」という意味の【理由】を意味する前置詞になります。 being too "enthusiastic" で「あまりにも熱心すぎて」です。 enthusiastic エンスュージアスティックは「熱心な」という意味の形容詞です。 例:enthusiastic discussion「熱のこもった議論」 動詞形は enthuse エン[シュ]ーズ「熱中する、興奮する、熱狂する」です。 making my fellow employees look lazy で「職場の同僚たちを怠け者に見えるようにした」という意味になります。 make ~ … で「~を…(の状態に)する」という意味になります。 例:Cloudy days make me feel gloomy.「曇りの日は憂鬱な気持ちにさせる。」 my fellow enployees で「同僚の従業員」です。 fellow は「同僚、同輩、同期生、仲間、同士」という意味になります。 look lazy で「怠けえ見える、怠惰に見える」です。

Yet, when you finally take off those rose-colored glasses and reality sets in, you may start seeing your partner in a new light. で「新しい関係は最初はウキウキすることが多いです。しかしながら、いよいよ楽観的なものの見方を止めて現実が見えてくると、あなたはパートナーを新しい観点から見るようになるでしょう。」という意味になります。 feel exhilarating で「ウキウキする、ワクワクする、刺激的感じる」です。 exhilarate イグズィラレイトゥは「ウキウキさせる、楽しくさせる」という意味の動詞です。 例:exhilarating experience「刺激的で爽快な体験」、I feel exhilarated at ~「私は~にウキウキしている」 at first は「最初は」ですね。後に出てくる finally「いよいよ、最後は」と対になってます。 Yet, は「しかしながら、けれども」といういみの接続詞です。but とほぼ同じ意味です。 when you finally take off those rose-colored glasses and reality sets in, で「あなたがいよいよバラ色の眼鏡を外し、現実が始まると、」です。 take off those rose-colored glasses で「バラ色の眼鏡を外す(楽観的な見方をやめる)」という意味で比ゆ的な慣用句です。 glasses は「眼鏡」です。メガネは左右対になっているので常に複数形です。 reality sets in で「現実が始まる」です。 set in は「(季節・悪天候・病気・流行・好ましくないことが)始まる、~に入る」という意味です。 例:rainy season sets in「梅雨の時期が始まる」 you may start seeing your partner in a new light で「あなたはパートナーを新しい観点から見始めるでしょう。」です。 in a new light は慣用句で「新しい観点から、新しい見方で」という意味です。 light は「光」ですが、「物事の見方、観点」という意味でも使われます。 例:in a negative light「否定的なものの見方で」
