で「人生とは、自然で自発的な変化の連続です。それに逆らってはいけません――逆らえば、ただ悲しみが生まれるだけです。現実を、ただ現実のままに受け入れましょう。物事は、それぞれの望むままに、自然に前へと流れていくに任せればよいのです。」という意味になります。

Life is ～「人生は～」
a series of ～「一連の～、～の連続」です。
(of) natural and spontaneous changes.「自然で自発的な変化」です。
spontaneous スポン[テ]ィニアスで「自然に起こる、自発的な」
例：move spontaneously「勝手に動く」
series は一見複数形のように見えますが、a series of ～ のように a がついて使われるため戸惑う人も多い単語です。実はこれは単数形でも複数形でも同じ形をとる単複同形の名詞です。
同じようなものは他にも、
species（種）、means（手段）などがあります。
例：a species threatened with extinction「絶滅危惧種」, a means of ～「～の手段」

Don’t resist them;「それらに抵抗するな」です。
resist ～ で「～に抵抗する、抗う」
them は natural and spontaneous changes を指しています。

セミコロン（;）で「なぜなら～」
that only creates sorrow. 「それは悲しみを生むだけ（だから）」

Let reality be reality.「現実を現実のままにしておけ」です。
let ～ do … で「～が…するままにしておく」

Let things flow naturally forward 「物事を自然に前に流れさせてておけ」です。
in whatever way they like. で「それらが好きなどんな方向にでも」です。
in what way ～ で「どういうふうに、どんな方向に、どんなふうに」です。
ここでは what に -ever がついた形 whatever で「どんな～でも」という意味。
they はさきほどの things を指しています。
they like なので「それらが流れたい（方向に）」ということです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
