で「学生の頃、私はロンドンでとても人気のあるパブで働いていた。試合の日になると、店長はビールのサーバーをペローニからフォスターズに付け替えていた。フォスターズの方が安く、利益率が高かったからだ。それでも、ビールはペローニのグラスで出していた。私がそこで働いていた数か月の間、違いに気づいた客は一人もいなかった。」という意味になります。

When I was a student「私が学生だった時」
I used to work in a very popular London pub.「とても有名なロンドンのパブで働いていた。」です。
used to do ～ で「昔（かつて）～していた」という意味の言い回し。今はもうしていないけど昔は～していた、という意味合いです。
ブリティッシュ・パブは、イギリスの伝統的な酒場として有名ですね。
地元の人々が集まって酒を飲みながらおしゃべりを楽しむ社交場で、テレビでサッカー観戦することも多いです。

On match days,「試合の日には」です。
match day で「試合の日」です。イギリスでは試合といえばサッカー（football）と決まっています。
my boss would change ～「店の上司は～を変えていた」です。
こちらの would も used to ～ と同じような意味で、「昔はよく～していたものだ」という過去の反復的な習慣の意味で使われます。

(change) the beer pumps for Peroni to Fosters. で「ペローにのためのビアサーバーをフォスターズに替えていた」です。
beer pump で「ビアサーバー」です。pump は「汲み上げ機、ポンプ」ですね。
Peroni はイギリスではちょっと高級なビール銘柄。Foster’s は大衆的な安いビールです。

It was cheaper and higher margins.「それはより安くて、より利益が出た。」です。
margin は「余白」という意味から「利ざや、利益」です。

We still served it in a Peroni glass.「私たちはそれでもペローニのグラスでそれを提供していた。」です。

In the months I was there,「私がそこにいた数カ月の中で」
not one customer knew the difference.「ただ一人の客もその違いに気が付かなかった。」です。
know the difference で「その違いに気が付く」という意味です。
ここでの know は「気が付く、見分けがつく」です。「知識として知っている」よりも「状況を理解している」「気づいている」という意味合いです。
例：I know when you’re upset.「君が怒っているときは分かるよ。（何かあったんでしょう？）」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
