lawmaker で「議員」です。law「法律」＋ maker「作る人」
the European Parliament は「欧州議会」です。EUの議会を指します。
on Wednesday「水曜に」
voted to ban ～ で「投票で～を禁止することにした」です。
vote は「賛成票を投じる、票を投じて決める」という意味の動詞。
(ban) the labelling of ～ で「～のラベル表示（を禁止する）」
of vegetarian protein で「ベジタリアン向けのたんぱく質製品（のラベル表示）」
protein は「プロテイン、タンパク質」です。発音はプ[ロ]ウティンとなります。
ここではいわゆるフェイクミート（植物由来の原料のみを使って、味と食感を肉に似せて作った食品）のことですね。
with terms such as ～「～などの言い回しで」です。
term は「期間、条件」などいろいろな意味がありますがここでは「言い回し、表現、用語」という意味です。
(such as) steak or meat. で「ステーキや肉（などの言い回しで）」です。

The lawmakers voted 532 to 78 で「議員たちは賛成532、反対78で（～すると）決めた」です。
何をすると決めたのかというと、
to define meat as ～ で「食肉を～と定義する（と）」です。
as “edible parts of animals”で「動物の食べられる部分（と）」です。
edible エディボォで「可食の、食べられる」という意味の形容詞。
and ～「また～」
to curtail the use of ～ で「～の使用を限定すると（決めた）」です。
curtail は「～を切り詰める、～を削減する」という意味でもよくつかわれますが、ここでは「制限する、限定する」という意味合い。
the use of words like ～ で「～などの言葉の使用」です。
like ～ で「～などの」という意味です。先に出た such as ～ と同じ意味ですね。
(like) steak, escalope, sausage or burger で「ステーキ、エスカロプ、ソーセージ、バーガー（などの言葉）」です。
for animal and not plant-based products. で「動物由来の製品のためであり、植物由来の製品のためではなく」です。
文法的には、animal と plant-based が products にかかる形容詞（または形容詞句）として対比されています。
省略せずに言い直すと、
for animal-based products and not for plant-based products. となります。
