アメリカの小説家でSF作家アーシュラ・K・ル＝グウィンの言葉です。

Fantasy is escapist, and that is its glory. If a soldier is imprisoned by the enemy, don’t we consider it his duty to escape? Fantasy is escapist, で「ファンタジーは現実逃避的だ」です。
ル＝グウィンはファンタジー作家なので、fantasy は小説のカテゴリーのことですね。
英語では fantasy [ファ]ンタスィーと最後は濁らずに発音します。
escapist は「現実逃避的な」という意味の形容詞。
名詞では「現実逃避主義者」ですが、ここでは冠詞が付いていないので形容詞で使われていることに注意しましょう。
escapism エス[ケ]イピズムで「現実逃避主義」です。
例：You are a racist.「あなたは人種差別主義者だ。」、You are racist.「あなたの発言は人種差別的だ。」
, and ～「そして～」
that is its glory. で「それこそがその栄光なのだ。」です。
つまり、現実逃避的であることこそが、ファンタジー小説の栄誉である、ということですね。
its は fantasy を指しています。
glory は「栄光、誇り、名誉、素晴らしい点、輝かしいこと」

If a soldier is imprisoned by the enemy, で「もし兵士が敵に捕らわれたら」
don’t we consider ～? で「私たちは～とみなさないだろうか？」
(consider) it his duty to escape? で「逃げることが彼の義務だと（みなす）」です。
consider ～ … で「～を…とみなす」です。
it は to escape を受けた仮目的語となります。
it を his duty とみなす、となります。

The moneylenders, the know-nothings, the authoritarians で「金貸したちや何も知らない人々や権威主義者たちは」
have us all in prison;「私たち全員を、投獄する」です。
know-nothing で「何も知らない人、無学文盲の人」
authoritarian は「権威主義者、独裁主義者」です。
have ～ in prison で「～を牢獄に閉じ込める」という意味のコロケーション。
us all で「私たち全員を」です。

if we value the freedom of the mind and soul,「もし私たちが精神と魂の自由を尊ぶなら」
if we’re partisans of liberty,「もし私たちが自由の信奉者ならば」
partisan [パ]ーティザンは「熱心な支持者、党員」です。
, then ～「（もし）そうならば～」
it’s our plain duty to escape,「逃げることは私たちの明白な義務である」です。
plain は「明らかな、はっきり見える」という意味の形容詞。
, and ～「また～」
to take as many people with us as we can.「できるだけ多くの人々を一緒につれていくこと（も）」です。
take ～ with us で「～を私たちと一緒に連れていく」です。
as many ～ as we can で「できる限り多くの～を」となります。
