で「私は彼らに製品開発とマーケティングの授業をし、彼らは私に、人種を理由に標的にされるとはどういう感じか、そして家族が刑務所にいるとはどういうことかを教えてくれました。私が学生時代の話を共有すると、彼らはいつか自分たちも大学に行きたいという希望を語ってくれました。」という意味になります。

I taught them lessons on ～ で「私は彼らに～について授業をした」です。
teach a lesson で「レッスンをする、授業する」という意味のコロケーション。
(on) product development and marketing, で「製品開発やマーケティングについて」
, and ～「そして～」
they taught me ～「彼らは私に～を教えてくれた」
what it’s like ～ing で「～することはどんな感じかを」
feeling targeted for ～ で「～のことで標的にされていると感じること」です。
be targeted で「標的にされる、攻撃を受ける、迫害される」という意味合いです。
for your race「自分の人種のために」です。
つまり、人種を理由として攻撃されるのはどんな気持ちか、ということですね。
and ～「また～」
having a family member in prison.「家族のだれかが刑務所にいること」です。
I shared stories from my time in school,「私は自分の学校時代の話をした」
, and ～「すると～」
they shared their hope of ～「彼らは～という願望を打ち明けてくれた」
(of) one day going to college too. で「いつか自分も大学に行きたい（という願望）」です。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
