で「私は昔、役員チーム（Exec Team）に送るスプレッドシートのいちばん右下のセルに「Fuck Off（ふざけんな）」って文字を仕込んで送っていた。白いセルに白い文字で。危うくバレそうになったのが、上司がそれを外部監査人にメールで送ろうとしたとき。メールの卑語（不適切語）フィルターに引っかかって送れなかった。結局IT部門も、なんで送れないのか最後まで分からなかった。」という意味になります。
I used to send a spreadsheet to ～ で「私は昔スプレッドシートを～に送っていた」です。
used to do ～ で「かつては～していた」という意味の言い回しです。
今は既に止めているという含みがあります。
spread-sheet はエクセルなど表計算ソフトのファイルのこと。
to the Exec Team で「（会社の）役員チームに」です。
Exec は executive イグ[ゼ]キュティヴ「役員、幹部、重役」の略です。
with “Fuck Off” で「Fuck Off（という文字）と一緒に」です。
in the very bottom right hand cell, で「一番右下のセルに」です。
very bottom で「一番下」という意味になります。
bottom right-hand で「（四角形の領域の）右下」です。
, white text on a white cell. で「白いセルに白い文字（で見えないようにして）」です。
Nearly got caught out で「危うくばれそうになった」です。
get caught out で「見破られる、ばれる」です。
when my boss couldn’t email it で「私の上司がそれをメールできなかったとき」です。
email はここでは動詞で「～をメールで送る」です。
to external auditors, で「外部の監査法人に」です。
external で「外部の、社外の」です。
反対語は internal「内部の」です。
auditor は「監査人、会計検査官」です。
会社の財務諸表が正しく作られているかを独立した立場で検証する人ですね。
動詞形は audit [オ]ーディトゥ「会計検査をする、監査する」
, failing the email profanity filter. で「メールの卑語フィルターにパスしなくて」です。
, failing ～ は文法的には分詞構文「～なので、～して」という意味に訳せます。
fail ～ filter で「～フィルターに引っ掛かって、～フィルターを通らずに」です。
fail は「～に失敗する、～に合格しない」です。
profanity プロ[ファ]ニティ「罵り言葉、卑語、下品な言葉」という意味の名詞。
例：utter a profanity「口汚く罵る」
IT never worked out why it wouldn’t send. で「IT部門はなぜそれが送れないのか最後まで分からなかった。」です。
IT はここでは IT department「IT部門」を指しています。
IT はInformation Technology のアクロニムです。
work out why ～ で「なぜ～かを解明する」です。
it wouldn’t send. の it は先のemailを指しています。
send はここでは自動詞で「送信される、送信できる」という意味です。
また、wouldn’t には「どうしても〜してくれない」という拒絶のニュアンスが含まれており、IT部門があれこれ試してもメールが頑なに送信されなかった様子が表現されています。
似たような使われ方としては、
This book sells well.「この本はよく売れる。」
The file just won’t upload.「ファイルがどうしてもアップロードできない。」
などがあります。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
