Today, I felt like surprising my coworkers by bringing donuts. Feeling generous, I got a dozen from the most reputable bakery in town. On my way to the office, I tripped, and the box flew open, scattering donuts everywhere. A group of pigeons swooped in and devoured them before I could recover. I spent $30 on pigeon breakfast. FML
で「今日、職場の同僚をびっくりさせたくてドーナツを買って行こうと思った。太っ腹な気分になって、街で一番評判のいいパン屋で１ダース（１２個）購入した。職場への途中、私は躓いてしまい、ドーナツの箱がパッと開いて、あちらこちらに散らばってしまった。鳩の一群が急降下し、私が立ち直る前に貪り食べてしまった。鳩の朝食に３０ドルも使ってしまった。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I felt like surprising my coworkers で「私は職場の同僚をびっくりさせたい気分になった」という意味になります。
feel like ～ing で「～したい気分だ」という意味の言い回しになります。
by bringing donuts. で「ドーナツを持っていくことで（びっくりさせる）」です。
bring ～ で「～を持っていく、～を持参する」です。

Feeling generous, で「太っ腹な気分になって」
generous で「気前のよい、太っ腹な」という意味の形容詞。
名詞形は generosity ジェネ[ラ]スィティ「寛容さ、寛大さ」です。
I got a dozen from the most reputable bakery in town. で「私は１ダースを買った、街で一番評判のいいパン屋で」です。
get ～ from … で「…で～を買う、～を…から入手する」です。
reputable [レ]ピュタボォで「評判のいい」という意味の形容詞。

On my way to the office, で「職場に向かう途中で」です。
I tripped,「私はつまずいた」
, and the box flew open, で「そしてドーナツの箱がパッと開いた」です。
fly open で「パッと開く」という意味の言い回しです。
例：when a door flew open「ドアがパッと開いたときに」
, scattering donuts everywhere. で「ドーナツがあちこちに散らばって」
scatter ～ で「～をまき散らす、ばらまく」です。

A group of pigeons で「鳩の一団が」
swooped in「パッと急降下して」
swoop で「パッと舞い降りる、急降下する、突然襲う」です。
and ～「そして～」
devoured them で「それらのドーナツを貪り食った」です。
devour ディ[ヴァ]ウアーで「～を貪り食う、がつがつ食べる」
before I could recover. で「私が立ち直る前に」です。
recover で「正常な状態に戻る、回復する」です。

spent は spend「～を費やす、浪費する」の過去形です。
