アメリカ合衆国のメソジスト派の宣教師である、スタンレー・ジョーンズの言葉です。

Our intentions may be very good, but, because the intelligence is limited, the action may turn out to be a mistake – a mistake, but not necessarily a sin, for sin comes out of a wrong intention.

Our intentions may be very good, but, because the intelligence is limited, the action may turn out to be a mistake – a mistake, but not necessarily a sin, for sin comes out of a wrong intention.
で「私たちの意図はとても善良なものかもしれない。しかし知性が制限されているため、行為が間違いに終わることもあるかもしれない。それは間違いであり必ずしも罪ではない。なぜなら、罪は不正な意図から生まれるものだからだ。」という意味になります。

Our intentions may be very good, で「私たちの意図はとても良いものかもしれない」です。
intention は「意図」です。good intention で「善意」です。
but, ～「しかし～」
because the intelligence is limited, で「知性が制限されているために」です。
the action may turn out to be a mistake で「行為が間違いに終わってしまうかもしれない」
turn out to be ～ で「～という結果になる」という意味の言い回しです。
例：turn out to be a disaster「悲惨な結果となってしまう」
– a mistake, but not necessarily a sin, で「間違いであり、必ずしも罪ではない」です。
for ～ で「というのも～」です。
ここでの for は接続詞で「というのも～、なぜなら～」という意味になります。
sin comes out of a wrong intention. で「罪は、正しくない意図から生まれる（のだから）」
wrong は「間違った、不正な、正しくない」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

私たちの意図は

may be very good,
とても善良なものかもしれない

but,
しかし

because the intelligence is limited,
知性が制限されているため

the action may turn out to be a mistake –
行動が間違いとなってしまうこともある

a mistake,
（それは）間違いであり

but not necessarily a sin,

for
なぜなら

sin comes out of a wrong intention.
罪は不正な意図から生まれるから
