本日の例文

J.K. Rowling のハーバード大学の卒業式でのスピーチ（2008年）です。

We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better.

で「世界を変えるために魔法は必要ありません。その力を私たちはすでに自分の中に持っているのです。そうです。私たちは、より良いものを想像する力を持っているのです。」という意味になります。

We do not need magic で「私たちは魔法を必要としない」です。
to change the world,「世界を変えるのに」
, we carry all the power we need で「私たちは、必要とするすべての力を持っている」です。
carry ～ で「～を携える、携行する」です。
all the power (that) we need で「私たちが必要とするすべての力」となります。
inside ourselves already で「自分の内側に、すでに」です。
「それはつまり～」という意味のコロン（:）で繋げて、
we have the power で「私たちは～する力を持っている」
to imagine better. で「より良いものを想像する（力を）」です。
ここでの better は副詞ではなく、imagine の目的語（名詞）として「より良い状態」や「より良い未来」「より良い可能性」という意味合いです。
例：We must strive for better.「私たちはより良いものを目指さなければならない。」、We all deserve better.「我々は皆、今よりもっと良い何かを受ける価値がある。」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

私たちは魔法を必要としない

to change the world,
世界を変えるために

we carry
私たちは～を持っている

all the power we need
必要な力を全部

inside ourselves
自分の内側に

already:
既に

we have the power
私たちは力を持っている

to imagine better.
