The rare unfurling of ～ で「～の珍しい開花」です。
unfurl は動詞で「（傘などが）開く、広がる、展開する」という意味。
un-（否定）+ furl「（傘などが）巻いてたたまれる」です。

(of) an endangered plant で「ある絶滅危惧種の植物（の開花）」
that emits the smell of decaying flesh で「（その開花は）腐った肉の匂いを放つ」です。

emit ～ で「（光・声・音・臭いなど）～を放つ、放出する、発する」です。
decaying flesh で「腐りかけの肉」
decay ディ[ケ]イで「腐る、腐敗する」
flesh は「（動物などの）肉、生身の肉」です。

その植物の開花（unfurling）が
drew hundreds of devoted fans で「数百人の熱心なファンたちを引き寄せた」です。
drew は draw「～を引き寄せる」の過去形。
