Today, an old friend unblocked me. Two years ago, she blocked me with no explanation. I got a notification saying she followed me on Instagram. I asked a mutual friend, and they said, “Oh yeah, she broke up with her partner. I guess she’s going through it.” So, she unblocked me because she’s lonely. FML
で「今日、昔の友達が私をブロック解除した。彼女は2年前に何の説明もなしに私をブロックした。（でも今日）Instagramで彼女が私をフォローしたという通知が届いた。共通の友達に聞いたら『ああ、彼女、パートナーと別れたんだよ。多分、今そのことで辛いんだと思うよ。』って言われた。つまり、彼女は寂しくなったから私のブロックを解除したってことか。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

an old friend unblocked me. で「古い友人が私をアンブロックした。」です。
unblock は「（SNSで）～のブロックを取り消す、～のブロックを解除をする」です。

Two years ago, 「二年前」
she blocked me with no explanation. で「彼女は私をブロックした、何の説明もなしに」
I got a notification saying ～ で「私は～と書かれた通知を受けた」
notification は「（SNS上での）通知、お知らせ」です。
say ～ はここでは「～と書いてある」という意味になります。
she followed me on Instagram. 「その友人が私をフォローしたと、インスタグラム上で」です。

I asked a mutual friend, 「私は共通の友人に聞いた」
mutual [ミュ]ーチュァォで「共通の、相互の、お互いの」です。
例：mutual affection 「相思相愛」、mutual aid 「相互扶助」
and they said, 「すると、その人は言った」です。
they は先ほどの a mutual friend を指しています。
なぜ単数形なのに they で受けているかというと、ここではその共通の友人の性別が不明、もしくは特に明かす必要がないからです。
gender-neutral の they（単数の they）と言います。
例：Someone left their umbrella here. 「誰かがここに傘を置いていった。」

Oh yeah, she broke up with her partner. 「ああ、彼女はパートナーと別れたんだよ。」
break up with ～ で「（恋人などと）別れる」です。
I guess (that) ～ 「～だと思うよ」
she’s going through it. 「彼女はそれで辛い日々を送っている（それを乗り越えようとして）」です。
go through ～ で「（つらい経験などを）経験する」という意味の句動詞です。
例：He went through a terrible time. 「彼はひどくつらい日々を送っていた。」

So, 「じゃあ、それだったら～」
she unblocked me because she’s lonely. 「彼女は寂しいから私のブロックを解除した（ってことか）」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

2年前

she blocked me with no explanation.
彼女は説明もなしに私をブロックした

I got a notification saying
（今日）～と書いてある通知を受けた

共通の友人に聞いたら

“Oh yeah, she broke up with her partner.
ああ、彼女はパートナーと別れたって

I guess she’s going through it.”
たぶんそれで今辛い日々を送っているんだと思うよ

So,
じゃあ、

she unblocked me
彼女は私のブロックを解除したってことか

because she’s lonely.
さみしいから
