Today, my husband got home on my birthday and told me he went overboard and bought a real expensive gift for his favourite girl. He then turned round and gave the real expensive gift to the girl in question, his 3 year-old niece. It’s not even her birthday. I got fuck all. FML

Today, my husband got home on my birthday and told me he went overboard and bought a real expensive gift for his favourite girl. He then turned round and gave the real expensive gift to the girl in question, his 3 year-old niece. It’s not even her birthday. I got fuck all. FML
で「今日、私の誕生日だったのに、夫が帰宅してこう言った。ちょっとやりすぎちゃったよ。大好きな人のためにすごく高いプレゼントを買っちゃったって。そして彼はなんと予想外にもその高価なプレゼントをその大好きな子――つまり3歳の姪っ子に渡したのだ。彼女の誕生日ですらないのに。私には何のプレゼントもなかった。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my husband got home on my birthday で「夫が私の誕生日に帰宅した」です。
get home で「帰宅する」という意味の言い回し。
and ～「そして～」
told me (that) ～「私に～だと言った」
he went overboard and ～ で「調子に乗って～してしまった（と）」
go overboard で「やりすぎる」という意味の言い回しです。
もともとは船乗りの言葉で「船外に落ちる」ことを意味して、何かをやり過ぎたり、行き過ぎてしまうという意味に発展した言葉です。
(and) bought a real expensive gift で「とても高価なプレゼントを買ってしまった」です。
for his favourite girl.「彼の一番お気に入りの女性に」です。

He then ～「すると彼は～」
turned round and ～ で「なんと予想外にも～した」です。
turn round は直訳では「振り返る」ですが、ここでは
turn round and do ～ で驚きや呆れなどを表現して「予想外にも～する」という意味のコロケーションになります。
イギリス英語でのよく使われる表現です。
例：He turned round and blamed me for everything.「信じられないことに彼はすべて私のせいにしてきた。」
(turned round and) gave the real expensive gift to ～ で「（あろうことか）そのとても高価なプレゼントを～に渡した」です。
(to) the girl in question, his 3 year-old niece.「その大好きな子、彼の3歳の姪っ子（に）」です。
in question で「件の、問題になっている、当該の」

It’s not even her birthday.「その日は姪の誕生日でさえない（のに）。」

I got fuck all.「私は何ももらえなかった。」です。
fuck all は nothing と同じ意味で「全く何も（ない）」です。
こちらもイギリス英語でのよく使われる表現です。
例：I know fuck all about cars.「車のことは全くわからない。」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

そして私にこう言ってきた
