Today, when I got home from the store, the dog was wiping his ass on the carpet, my two older boys were brawling, my youngest was crying because he’d broken a glass and cut himself, and my husband was in the kitchen, eating the cake I’d told him to leave alone. FML
で「今日、お店から帰ってきたら、犬はカーペットでお尻を拭いてるし、上の2人の息子は殴り合いのケンカをしてるし、一番下の子はコップを割って手を切って泣いてるし、夫はというと、私が食べないでって言っておいたケーキを台所で食べてた。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

when I got home from the store, で「お店から帰宅した時」です。
get home で「帰宅する」
the dog was wiping his ass on the carpet, で「うちの犬がお尻を拭いていた、カーペットに」です。
ass は「尻」という意味です。
wipe one’s ass で「尻を拭く」
例：ass-wipe「トイレットペーパー」
～, ～, and ～ の列挙の形で繋げていきます。
, my two older boys were brawling, で「（また）うちの上の男の子たちは騒がしく乱闘していた」です。
brawl は「騒々しく乱闘する」です。
バーやパーティーなどで大声を上げての「乱闘」というイメージです。激しくて手が出るようなケンカを指します。
, my youngest was crying because ～ で「一番下の子は泣いていた、～なので」
(because) he’d broken a glass and cut himself, で「グラスを割ってしまってそれで彼自身を切ってしまった（ので）」です。
he had broken と had を使って大過去（ある過去の時点よりも前のこと）となっています。
cut himself で「体の一部をその割れたグラスで切ってしまう」です。
cut は変化形が過去・過去分詞とも同じ形になります。cut-cut-cut
ここでは cut は過去形になっています。

my husband was in the kitchen,「夫はキッチンにいて」
, eating the cake「そのケーキを食べながら」
(the cake) I’d told him to leave alone. で「私が手を付けるなと言てっおいた（そのケーキ）」です。
I’d told は同様に I had told と大過去になっています。
leave ～ alone は「～を一人にしておく、そっとしておく」という意味もありますが、ここでは「～に触れないでおく、～に手を出さない」という意味です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
