で「まずは、大きく意味のあるプロジェクトに取り組みましょう。私たちの世代は、自動運転の車やトラックのような技術によって、何千万人もの雇用が失われるという問題に直面することになります。でも、私たちには協力することで、もっと多くのことを成し遂げる可能性があります。」という意味になります。

First, let’s take on big meaningful projects.「まず第一に、大きく意味のあるプロジェクトに取り組みましょう」です。
take on ～ で「（任務など）～を引き受ける」です。

Our generation will have to deal with ～「我々の世代は、～に対応しなければならなくなります」
deal with ～ で「～に取り組む、対応する、対処する」
(with) tens of millions of jobs「数千万の雇用、勤め口」です。
ここでの job は jobsと複数形で「雇用数、勤め口」という意味でつかわれています。
例：create jobs「雇用を生み出す」
(jobs) replaced by automation で「オートメーション技術によって置き換えられる（雇用）」です。
like ～「～のような」
(like) self-driving cars and trucks.「自動運転の自動車やトラック（のようなオートメーション技術）」

But ～「しかし～」
we have the potential to do ～「私たちには～するポテンシャルがある」です。
potential は「潜在能力、可能性」です。
(to) do so much more で「もっと多くのことを成し遂げられる（可能性）」
do much で「大きな働きをする、大いに役立つ」
together.「共にやれば、協力すれば」です。
省略された than ～ を付け加えるとしたら、
than we could do alone「一人でやるよりも（ずっと多くを）」です。
このように more など比較級が出てきたときは、
省略された比較対象 than ～ が何なのかを考えるようにしてみましょう。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
