中国春秋時代の哲学者・道教の始祖である老子の言葉です。

The sage does not hoard. The more he helps others, the more he benefits himself. The more he gives to others, the more he gets himself. The Way of Heaven does one good but never does one harm. The Way of the sage is to act but not to compete.

で「賢者は、ため込まない。人を助ければ助けるほど、かえって自分が満たされる。人に与えれば与えるほど、結果として自分が多くを得る。天の道は、人を利することはあっても、害することは決してない。賢者の道とは、行動はするが、争わないことである。」という意味になります。

The sage does not hoard. で「賢者はため込まない。」です。
sage セ]イジで「賢人、賢者」
hoard [ホ]ァドゥは「ため込む、貯蔵する」という意味の動詞です。

The more he helps others, the more he benefits himself. で「他の人を助ければ助けるほど、自分自身を利する。」です。
the more ～, the more …「～すればするほど…する」という意味の文型です。
he は the sage を指しています。

The more he gives to others, the more he gets himself.「他の人に与えれば与えるほど、自分も多くを得る」です。

The Way of Heaven does one good but never does one harm. で「天の道は、人を利するが、人を害しない。」です。
the Way of Heaven で「天の道、天道、自然の摂理」です。
do ～ good で「～に善をなす」、do ～ harm で「～に害をなす」です。
does one good なので「人に善をなす、利する」です。
never does one harm で「決して人に害をなさない」です。

The Way of the sage is to act but not to compete. で「賢者の道とは、行動はするが、争わないことである。」です。
compete コン[ピ]ートゥで「競争する、競い合う、張り合う」という意味の動詞。
名詞形は competition コンペ[ティ]ションで「競争、コンペ、競技会」です。
