で「私たちは理解しています。今、最大のチャンスは世界規模に広がっているのだと。貧困を終わらせ、病気を終わらせる世代に、私たちはなれるのです。同時に、最大の課題もまた、世界的な対応を必要としていることを私たちは分かっています。気候変動と闘うことも、パンデミックを防ぐことも、どの国も単独ではできません。これからの進歩には、都市として、国家としてだけでなく、世界的なコミュニティとして結束することが必要なのです。」という意味になります。

We get that ～ で「私たちは～だと分かっている」
ここでの get は「理解する、分かる」です。
例：I got it.「分かりました。」
(that) our greatest opportunities are now global で「私たちの最大の機会は今や世界規模（だと）」
we can be the generation that ～ で「私たちは～する世代になれる」
(that) ends poverty,「貧困を終わらせる（世代に）」
(that) ends disease.「病気を終わらせる（世代に）」

We get that ～ で「私たちは～だと分かっている」
(that) our greatest challenges need global responses too「私たちの最大の課題もまた、世界的な対応を必要としている（と）」
response は「返答、返信」という意味でおなじみですが、ここでは「（問題への）対応、対処」です。
例：first responder「初期対応者 ※災害や事故による負傷者に対して最初に対応する人（救助隊・救急隊・消防隊・警察など）」

no country can fight climate change「どんな国も気候変動とは闘えない」
alone「単独で、一国だけで」
or prevent pandemics.「またはパンデミックを防ぐ（こともできない）」です。
fight ～ で「～と闘う、対戦する」です。
例：fight a fire「消防にあたる」
pandemic は「世界的に流行する感染病」です。

Progress now requires coming together で「進歩には、今は、結束することが必要だ」です。
come together で「集結する、結束する」
not just as cities or nations, で「都市や国としてだけでなく、」
but also as a global community.「世界的なコミュニティとして」です。
not just ～, but also … で「～だけでなく、…も」という意味の言い回し。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
