Mark Zuckerberg のハーバード大学の卒業式でのスピーチ（2017年）です。

But we live in an unstable time. There are people left behind by globalization across the world. It’s hard to care about people in other places if we don’t feel good about our lives here at home. There’s pressure to turn inwards.

で「しかし私たちは不安定な時代に生きています。世界中には、グローバル化の波から取り残された人々もいます。自分たちの生活がこの国でうまくいっていると感じられなければ、遠くの国の人々のことまで気にかけるのは難しい。どうしても内向きになろうとする圧力があるのです。」という意味になります。

But ～「しかし～」
we live in an unstable time.「私たちは不安定な時代に生きています。」
unstable で「不安定な」です。
There are people left behind で「取り残された人々がいます」
left behind by ～ で「～から取り残された、おいてきぼりにされた、落ちこぼれた」です。
by globalization で「グローバル化（から取り残された）」
across the world.「世界中で」

It’s hard to care about ～ で「～のことを気にかけることは難しい」
people in other places「他の場所にいる人々（のことを）」
if we don’t feel good about ～「～について心地よく感じないなら」
feel good about ～ で「～に気分がよい、満足する」
our lives here at home.「自国での自分たちの生活（について）」
in other places と here at home が対応している形ですね。

There’s pressure to turn inwards. で「内側に向いてしまう圧力があるのです。」です。
turn inwards で「内側に向く、内向的になる」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
