で「そいうわけで6番目の権力の源は『数』、つまり大量の人々となります。声を上げる群衆は、強い集団的な関心を表し、正当性を主張することで、力を生み出します。アラブの春やティーパーティー運動の台頭を思い出してみてください。群衆を無視することはできないのです。」という意味になります。

the sixth source of power is numbers,「6番目の権力の源は数です。」
numbers と複数形で使われて「数字上の優勢、数で上回ること」という意味になります。
例：We have numbers on our side.「れわれの方が数では勝っている。」
, lots of humans.「（つまり）多数の人々です。」

A vocal mass of people で「声を上げる群衆」です。
vocal はここでは「声の大きい、うるさく主張する」です。
例：vocal cat「よく鳴く猫」
mass of people で「多数の人びと」
mass マスには「塊、多数、多量、群衆」などという意味があります。
単なる人数の多さだけでなく「ある方向に向かって動く集団感」を表しています。
creates power by ～ing で「～することで権力を創り出す」
(by) expressing collective intensity of interest で「強い集団的な関心を表明すること（によって）」
express ～ は「～を外に押し出す、表出する、表現する」という意味です。
ex-（外に）＋ press「押し出す」
collective は「集合的な、集まった、共同の」
intensity of interest で「関心の強さ」
and ～「また～」」
by asserting legitimacy.「正当性を強く主張することによって」です。
assert ～ で「～を強く主張する、～だと断言する」です。
legitimacy レ[ジ]ティマスィで「正当性、合法性」です。
例：challenge the legitimacy of ～「～の正統性に異議を唱える」

Think of ～「～のことを考えてみてください」
(of) the Arab Spring「アラブの春（のことを）」
or ～「または～」
(of) the rise of the Tea Party.「ティーパーティー運動の台頭（のことを）」
どちらの歴史的事件も大勢の群衆が集結することで体制を覆した出来事ですね。

Crowds count. で「群衆は無視できない、侮れない」です。
count はここでは自動詞で「重要である、価値がある、無視できない」という意味になります。
例：Friendship counts most in times of need.「困った時こそ友情が大事である。」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

つまり多量の人々です
