今日の台湾の地震のニュース記事から引用です。
ちょっと長いですがひとつずつ見ていきましょう。

で「土曜日、強力な地震が台湾を襲った。少なくとも7人が死亡。そのほとんどが倒壊した17階建てのアパートで。そこではおよそ35人が、救助活動が始まって数時間経ったいまも閉じ込められているとみられている。」という意味になります。

A powerful earthquake struck Taiwan on Saturday で「土曜日に、台湾を強力な地震が襲った」です。

killing at least seven people で「（それは）少なくとも7人を殺した」となります。
at least は「少なくとも」という意味のイディオムですね。
英語では災害などでも擬人化して kill をよく使います。

most in a 17-storey apartment building で「そのほとんどが、17階建てのアパートの建物の中で」です。
most は「ほとんど」という意味です。most in ～ なので、ほとんどが～の中で（死んだ）ということです。
17-storey は「17階」という意味になります。
storey はイギリス英語で、アメリカ英語では story と書きます。
建物の「階」という意味の名詞です。
例：60-story building「60階建てのビル」

that collapsed は直前の 17-storey apartment building を修飾する関係代名詞節で「倒壊した」という意味です。
collapse は「倒壊する、崩壊する」という意味の動詞です。

with about 35 people still feared trapped there hours into a rescue operation. で「およそ35人が救助活動に入って数時間経つ今もそこに閉じ込められていると見られている。」という意味になります。
～, with … という形は「付帯状況」、さらに情報を付け加えるときによく使います。
feared trapped の feared は「懸念された、心配された、どうやら～とみられる」という意味です。
ですので feared trapped で「閉じ込められているとみられる」という意味になります。
例：He is feared dead.「彼は死亡したと見られる」
trap は「わなで捕らえる」ですが、trapped で「身動きが取れない、閉じ込められている」という意味でも使われます。
例：trapped by a blizzard「吹雪で身動きが取れない」

hours into a rescue operation は「救助活動が始まってから数時間（後の）」という意味です。
into ～ は「～の中に」という意味でおなじみですが、今回のように「～が始まってから」という意味にもなります。
例：after 2 hours into the meeting「会議が始まって2時間後」
