息子とのドライブで起きた悲惨な出来事です。

Today, I was on a long roadtrip with my son. My son said he has to pee to which I answered he had to wait till I can stop the car. He started counting backwards from 10. I couldn’t stop in time. FML

Today, I was on a long roadtrip with my son. My son said he has to pee to which I answered he had to wait till I can stop the car. He started counting backwards from 10. I couldn’t stop in time. FML
で「今日、私は息子と長いドライブに出かけていた。息子がオシッコがしたいと言ったので、私は車を止められるまで待ちなさいと答えた。息子は10秒からカウントダウンし始めた。私は間に合わなかった。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I was on a long roadtrip with my son で「私は息子と長いドライブ中だった。」です。
roadtrip（road trip）は「車での旅、ドライブ」という意味です。
例：go on a road trip「車で旅行する」

My son said he has to pee で「息子はオシッコをしなくちゃと言った」です。
have to pee は「オシッコをしなければいけない」ですが、慣用句的に「オシッコがしたい」という意味になります。
pee は「おしっこ、おしっこをする」です。
例：I have to pee.「オシッコしたい。」

to which I answered he had to wait で「（それに対して）私は待たなければいけないと答えた」です。
to which は関係代名詞で、answered to ～ の to が 関係代名詞の前に持ってこられた形です。

till I can stop the car で「私が車を止められるまで（待たないと）」です。

He started counting backwards from 10 で「彼は10秒から逆に数え始めた」です。
count backwards from 10 で「10からカウントダウンする」です。
backwards は「逆に」という意味の副詞です。

in time は「時間内に、間に合って」という意味です。
ちなみに on time は「時間通りに、定刻に」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

私は車でドライブしていた

with my son.
息子と

My son said
息子が言った

he has to pee
オシッコがしたいと

to which I answered
