Many past products advertised in old publications までが主語で「多くの過去の製品たち、古い出版物で宣伝された（多くの製品たち）」です。
publications は「（雑誌や新聞などの）出版物」という意味の名詞です。
can be profitably promoted で「儲けが出るようにプロモートできる」です。
promote ～ で「～を宣伝する、販売促進する、売り込む」という意味の動詞です。
例：promote someone’s memoir「人の回顧録を宣伝して売り出す」
all over again. は「また一から、最初からやり直して」という意味の言い回し。
