account for ～ で「～を占める、～を構成する」
about 1% of the world’s GDP で「世界のGDPの約1％を」です。
and ～「また～」
0.3% of its population. で「世界人口の0.3％を」です。
its は world を指しています。
Yet ～「にもかかわらず」
the Nordic region has produced ～ で「その北欧地域は～を生み出してきた」です。
scores of corporate giants, で「多数の巨大企業を」です。
scores of ～ で「多数の～」という意味の言い回し。
giant は「巨人」ですが、ここでは「大企業」という意味になります。
, from Lego and IKEA to Spotify and Maersk. で「レゴやイケアから、スポティファイやマースクまで」です。
from ～ to … で「～から…まで」

punch so far above its weight で「これほどまでに実力以上の力を発揮している（のか？）」です。
punch above one’s weight で「自分より上のランクと張り合う」という意味のイディオム。
ボクシングで自分のウェイトよりも上の級の相手にパンチする、というイメージですね。
so far above ～ で「これほどはるか上に」です。
far above ～ で「～よりはるか上に」に、so「これほど」が付いた形。
