で「あなたは人生の毎日を、他の人々が作り上げた権力システムの中を通して暮らしている。それに気づいていますか？ 権力を理解していますか？ それがなぜ重要かを自覚していますか？ 権力について話すことはしばしば気まずいものです。市民生活、つまり私たちがコミュニティで共に暮らす有様の中では、特にそうです。」という意味になります。

you move through systems of power で「権力システムの中を通って暮らしている」です。
move through ～ で「～の中を進んでいく、通り抜ける」です。
systems of power で「権力システム」
それは、
that other people made. で「他の人びとが作った（権力システム）」です。
Do you sense them?「それらを感知していますか？」
them は systems of power を指しています。
Do you understand power?「権力というものを理解していますか？」
Do you realize why it matters?「それがなぜ重要なのかを自覚していますか？」
it matters で「それは重要である」という意味になります。
Power is something ～ で「権力は～なものである」
(that) we are often uncomfortable talking about. で「私たちがしばしば気まずく感じる、それについて話すことが」です。
That’s especially true で「それは特にそうである。」
in civic life, 「市民生活において（特にそうである）」
civic は「市民の」という意味です。
同格のカンマでつなげて、それはつまり、
, how we live together in community. で「私たちがコミュニティの中で共にどのように暮らすか」です。
上記の名詞句が、civic life と同格になっています。
