FML で「今日、うちの猫が家に血だらけで死にかけたネズミを持ってきた。そいつは何とか逃げようとして、体を引きずって壁の亀裂に入っていってしまった。そこできっと死んでしまっただろう。その場所で悪臭を放ち出す前にそれを取り出すには壁を壊すしかない。　*ck my life!」という意味になります。 brought は bring の過去形で「つれてくる、もってくる」という意味です。 a bloody, barely-living mouse で「血だらけで辛うじて生きてるネズミ」です。 bloody ブラッディは「血だらけの」という意味の形容詞です。 名詞形は blood ブラッドゥで「血、血液」です。 トマトジュースとウォッカを使ったカクテルでブラッディー・メアリー（Bloody Mary）というのがありますね。 barely-living は「辛うじて生きている、死に掛けた」という意味の形容詞です。 The thing managed to escape で「そいつは何とか逃げようとした」です。 the thing はそのネズミのことで「そいつ」という意味合いです。 manage to ～ は「なんとか～しようとする」という意味の言い回しです。 manage は「なんとか～する、どうにか～する」という意味の動詞です。 manager で「経営者、マネージャー、監督」という意味になります。何とか経営・運営していく人という意味合いなんですね。 dragged itself into a crack in the wall で「壁の亀裂の中に体を引きずって入っていった」です。 drag oneself で「自分自身を引きずる」で「足を引きずる、重い体を引きずる」という意味になります。 where it must have died で「（そこで）そいつは死んでしまったに違いない」という意味になります。 where は直前の in the wall を指して、「その場所で～」という意味でつながる関係副詞です 最後の文は、 The only way to get it out before it starts to stink up the place「その場所でそれが悪臭を放ち出す前にそれを取り出す唯一の方法」までが主語（主部）です。 The only way to get it out で「それを取り出す唯一の方法」です。 get it out で「それを取り出す」という意味です。 before it starts to stink up the place で「それがその場所で悪臭を放ち出す前に」です。 stink up the place は「その場所で悪臭を放つ、周りに悪臭を放つ」という意味です。
