で「パッと見、かつ丼は美的に言って最もそそられる料理ではないが、確かにおいしい。」という意味になります。

At first sight で「一見して、パッと見」という意味の言い回しですね。

katsudon is not the most appealing of dishes で「かつ丼は最も魅力的な料理ではない」です。
外国人から見ると見た目はあまりおいしそうには見えないのでしょうか？
appealing は「魅力的な、そそる、訴えかける様な」という意味の形容詞です。
dish は「皿」という意味もありますが、今回は「料理」という意味です。

aesthetically-speaking は「美的に言って」という意味の副詞です。
aesthetically は「美的に」という意味です。
形容詞形は aesthetic エスセティック「美の、美的な」です。
例：aesthetic expression「美的表現」

but it sure is tasty で「でも確かにおいしい」です。
it sure is ～ で「確かに～だ」という意味の言い回しです。
例：It sure is good.「確かにおいしいよ」、It sure is cold.「ほんとに寒いね」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

かつ丼は最もそそられる料理とは言えない

aesthetically-speaking
美的観点から言って

but it sure is tasty.
しかしそれは確かにおいしいのだ
