Today, my husband is going on his 5th consecutive day without a shower. He’s been working 16-hour shifts, and though I’m empathetic to his exhaustion, his foul body odor has overtaken the bedroom and his excretions have discolored his side of the bed. I fear the worst. FML
で「今日、夫がシャワーを浴びずに連続5日間になろうとしている。彼は16時間勤務で働いていて、とても疲れていることには同情できるが、鼻につく体臭が寝室を覆い、体から出る老廃物がベッドの彼の寝ている側を変色させている。最悪の事態にならなければいいのだが。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my husband is going on his 5th consecutive day で「夫が連続５日に入ろうとしてる」という意味です。
be going on ～で「もうすぐ～になろうとしている」という意味になります。
例：He is going on 30 years old.「彼はもうすぐ30歳になる」
5th consecutive day で「連続で5日目」です。
consecutive は「連続の」という意味の形容詞（adjective）です。
例：consecutive holidays「連休」
without a shower で「シャワーなしで」なので、シャワーなしで連続５日が経過しようとしているということです。

He’s been working 16-hour shifts, で「彼は16時間勤務で働いている」です。
shift は「交代制」です。

and though I’m empathetic to his exhaustion, で「そして私は彼の極度の疲労には同情するが」です。
though は「～だが、～だけれど」という意味の接続詞（conjunction）。
empathetic to ～ で「～に共感する」です。
empathetic は「共感できる、感情移入の」という意味の形容詞です。
名詞形は、empathy [エ]ンパスィー「共感、感情移入」です。
exhaustion は「疲れ切っていること」です。
動詞形　exhaust イグゾーストゥで「～を使いつくす、中身を空にする、疲れ果てさせる、排気する」です。

his foul body odor has overtaken the bedroom で「彼の鼻につく体臭が寝室に充満する」です。
foul [ファ]ウォはスポーツでの「反則」という意味でお馴染みですが、元の意味は「嫌な、不快な、腐った、不正な」などという意味の言葉です。
今回は「（匂いが）不快な」という意味で使われています。
例：foul smell「悪臭」、foul breath「口臭、臭い息」
body odor は「体臭」です。
overtake は「追い付く、追い越す」という意味ですが、そこから「～を包み込む、いっぱいにする」という意味でも使います。
例：overtaken by sadness「悲しみに襲われる」

his excretions have discolored his side of the bed. で「体から出る老廃物がベッドの彼の寝る側を変色させている」です。
excretion は「排出物、老廃物」という意味です。
動詞形は excrete イクスクリートゥで「分泌する、排出する」です。
例：excrete excess salt 「余分な塩分を排出する」

I fear the worst. で「最悪の事態を恐れる」です。
fear the worst で「最悪の事態を恐れる」という意味の慣用句です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
