Today, my best friend asked me to be the best man at his wedding. I had to decline because the bride’s family has deep prison gang ties and I’m a correctional officer. FML
で「今日、大親友が彼の結婚式で僕に介添人をしてくれと頼んできた。僕は断らねばならない。なぜなら花嫁の家族は刑務所ギャングとのつながりが深く、僕は刑務官だから。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

ask me to ～ で「私に～するように頼む」という意味になります。

to be the best man at his wedding で「彼の結婚式で介添人になるように（頼む）」です。
the best man は結婚式の「花婿の介添人」という意味です。
groomsmen「花婿の介添人」の一番の介添人を the best man と言います。
ちなみに、
groom「花婿」、bride「花嫁」です。

I had to decline because ～ で「私は断らなければならなかった、なぜなら～」です。
decline は「断る、辞退する」という意味の動詞です。

なぜ断らなければならなかったかというと、
the bride’s family has deep prison gang ties で「花嫁の家族が刑務所ギャングと深いつながりを持っている（から）」です。
deep tie で「深いつながり、深い関係」です。
prison gang は「刑務所ギャング」です。

I’m a correctional officer で「私は刑務官だ」です。
correctional officer で「刑務官、看守」です。
correctional は「矯正の、刑務所の」という意味です。
例：correctional facility「矯正施設、刑務所」
