で「僕の試合は直感に基づいている。しょっちゅう、フォワードはあまり考える時間がない。大抵が一秒以内に、ドリブルかシュートか、右へのパスか左へのパスかを決めなければならない。その命令を出すのは直感だ。」という意味になります。

game は「試合」という意味になります。この場合は、サッカーの試合のことですね。

be based on improvisation で「即興に基づいている、即興が基本である」となります。
improvisation で「即興で行うこと」という意味の名詞です。
動詞形は、improvise [イ]ンプロヴァイズで「即興でやる、行き当たりばったりでやる、アドリブ演奏をする」です。
例：improvise a speech「即興でスピーチをする」、keep an attitude of improvisation「臨機応変に対応する」

a forward does not have the time to think too much で「フォワードはあまり考える時間がない」です。
do not have the time to think で「考える時間がない」です。

You have a second, rarely more, to decide で「決断するのに一秒あるかないかだ」です。
この場合の You は一般人称で一般論を述べるときに使われます。「（あなたも含めた）誰でも～だよね」という意味合いになります。

a second で「一秒、一瞬」という意味になります。
rarely more で「めったにそれ以上はない」です。
rarely は「滅多にない、ほぼない」という意味の副詞です。

何を決断するかというと、
to dribble, shoot or pass to the right or left で「ドリブルするか、シュートするか、右か左にパスするか」の決断です。

It is instinct that gives the orders. で「その命令を出すのは直感だ」となります。
It is instinct that ～ で「～するのは直感だ」です。
instinct は「直感、本能」という意味の名詞です。
例：aggressive instinct「攻撃本能」
give an order で「命令を出す」という意味のイディオムですが、
今回は定冠詞を使って gives the orders で「その命令を出す」です。
the orders 「その命令」とは、前述のシュートするかドリブルするかパスするかの命令を指しています。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
