online brokerage firm で「オンライン証券会社」です。
brokerage は「仲買業」という意味です。
証券の仲買を生業とした事業のことを意味します。
一方、securities firm も「証券会社」という意味ですが、こちらは大手の証券会社を指して言いうことが多いです。

said on Tuesday ～ で「火曜日に、～だと公表した」です。

何を公表したのかというと、
it was considering buying Coincheck Inc, で「マネックスはコインチェック社を買収することを検討してる」です。
consider ～ing で「～することを検討する」です。

the cryptocurrency exchange で「暗号通貨の取引所」です。
cryptocurrency は「暗号通貨」です。
crypto で「暗号の」という意味です。
currency カレンシーは「通貨」です。
exchange は「取引所」ですね。
例：Tokyo Stock Exchange「東京証券取引所（東証）」、New York Stock Exchange「ニューヨーク証券取引所（NYSE）」

hit by a high-profile $530 million theft で「ひときわ印象的だった$530 millionもの窃盗事件に見舞われた」です。
hit by ～ で「～に襲われた、～に見舞われた」です。
high-profile ハイプロウファイォは「ひときわ印象的な、びっくりするような、高額な」という意味の形容詞です。
例：high-profile company「注目度の高い企業」

earlier this year は「今年これまでに」とよく訳されますが、early this year「今年の初めに」ではないことに注意しましょう。
earlier は「以前に、過去に」という意味なんですね。
