While Japan has a lot to offer and is known for a plethora of things in terms of food, landmarks and culture, perhaps the one thing that everyone thinks when they think Japan is anime. In Japan, you can find anime characters on clothing, food and beverage packaging, gift cards, and even used as advertising for major companies.

In Japan, you can find anime characters on clothing, food and beverage packaging, gift cards, and even used as advertising for major companies.
で「日本には見所も多く、食べ物や史跡、文化の面で有り余るほどのものがあることで知られていますが、たぶん皆が日本について考える時に、一番に思い浮かべるものはアニメです。日本では、衣服に、食べ物や飲み物のパッケージに、ギフトカードにもアニメキャラが印刷されているのを目にします。大企業の広告塔として使われることさえあります。」という意味になります。

While ～ は「～ではなるが、～である一方で、」という意味の接続詞（conjunction）です。

Japan has a lot to offer で「日本は提供できる多くのもの（見どころ）を持っている」となります。
a lot to offer で「見所、魅力」という意味のイディオムです。

and is known for a plethora of things で「そして（日本は）～なもので溢れていることで知られている」です。
be known for ～ で「～で知られている、～で有名である」です。
a plethora of ～ は「～の過多、過剰な～」という意味です。
plethora プ[レ]ソラは「多量、多すぎること」という意味の名詞です。
例：a plethora of opportunities「たくさんのチャンス」

in terms of food, landmarks and culture で「食べ物、史跡、文化の面で」です。
in terms of ～ で「～の面で、～の点で、～に関して」という意味の言い回しですね。
landmarks は「象徴的な建造物、目印となるような建物」という意味です。
観光スポット的なものという意味です。
具体的には東京タワーや浅草雷門などのことですね。

perhaps the one thing that everyone thinks when they think Japan is anime で「たぶん皆が日本について考える時に、一番に思い浮かべるものはアニメです。」となります。
正しく区切るのが難しい文ですので、詳しく見ていきましょう。
まず主語（主部）は、
the one thing that everyone thinks when they think Japan までです。
the one thing that everyone thinks で「その一つのもの、みんなが考える」です。
意訳すれば「一番に思いつくもの」という意味合いです。
when they think Japan で「日本のことを考える時」です。
以上で「日本のことを考える時に一番に思い浮かべること」となります。
is anime で「～はアニメだ」となります。

In Japan, you can find anime characters on clothing, food and beverage packaging, gift cards, で「日本では、衣服に、食べ物や飲み物のパッケージに、ギフトカードにもアニメキャラが印刷されているのを目にします。」となります。
you can find anime characters on ～ で「～の上にアニメのキャラクターを見つけることができます」です。
何の上にかというと、
on clothing, food and beverage packaging, gift cards で「服、食べ物や飲み物のパッケージ、ギフトカードの上に」です。
beverage ベヴァリジは「飲み物、飲料」という意味です。
ジュース・コーヒー・お茶・お酒などのことです。

and even used as advertising for major companies. で「そして広告としてさえも使われる、大企業の」です。
used as ～ で「～として用いられる、使われる」です。
major companies は「大手企業」となります。
ちなみに中小企業は SMEs（small and mid-sized enterpise）または、small businesses といったりします。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
