前回からの続きで、十代で作家になりたいと言ったときに周りの人々から言われた言葉です。

Aren’t you afraid that ～ で「～じゃないかと怖くない？」です。
you’re going to work your whole life at this craft で「この作品に一生かけて注力することになる」です。
work at ～ で「～に取り組む」です。
work と at の間に、your whole life が入った形です。
one’s whole life は「一生をかけて」という意味の副詞句です。
例：stay in music one’s whole life「一生音楽にかかわり続ける」
work your whole life at ～ なので「一生をかけて～に取り組む」です。
this craft とは「この工芸品」ですが、この場合は作家ですので「本、作品」です。

and nothing’s ever going to come of it で「そしてこの先ずっと何もそこから結果が出ない」です。
nothing is ever going to ～ で「何も～この先ずっとしないだろう」です。
例：Is this ever going to end?「いつか終わるのでしょうか？／いつまでたっても終わらないな。」
come of it は「それから結果が出る、結果が生まれる」です。
come of ～ で「～から生じる」という意味です。
例：Something will come of it.「何とかなるよ／何か結果が出るでしょう」

and you’re going to die on a scrap heap of broken dreams で「そしてあなたは死ぬことになる、敗れた夢のごみの山の上で」です。

with your mouth filled with bitter ash of failure で「あなたの口には失敗の苦い灰が詰め込まれた状態で」です。
with ～ … は付帯状況ですね。
with + O + C という形です。
your mouth「あなたの口」が、filled with ～「～で満たされた（状態で）」です。
bitter ash of failure で「失敗の苦い灰」です。
日本語では「苦汁（くじゅう）」という言葉がありますね。
