「トイストーリーなどの映画を生き生きと描いたり、さまざまな特殊効果を可能にしたテクノロジー」です。
animated movies like “Toy Story” の部分が意味を取り違えやすい部分なので注意しましょう。
animated movie で「アニメ映画」という意味にもなりますが、
この文脈では、animated は動詞（verb）として使われています。
The technology (that) animated movies like “Toy Story” で「トイストーリーなどの映画を生き生きと描いた（技術）」となります。
animate アニメイトゥは元々「～に命を吹き込む」という意味です。

award ア[ウォ]ードゥで「賞、賞金」です。アワードではないので注意しましょう。

チューリング賞とは
