エリザベス・ギルバート氏によるTEDスピーチ「創造性をはぐくむには」です。

That’s the kind of thought that could lead a person to start drinking gin at nine o’clock in the morning, and I don’t want to go there. I would prefer to keep doing this work that I love.

で「そういう考えこそが、人を朝9時にジンを飲むようにさせるのです。そして私はそうはなりたくありません。私はむしろ大好きなこの仕事をし続けていきたいです。」という意味になります。

That’s the kind of thought (that) ～ で「それがある種～な考え方だ」となります。
that「それ」とは、前回の文ででてきた
my greatest success is behind me. So Jesus, what a thought!
「私の絶頂期はもう過去のものだ」ということです。

どういう考えかというと、
(that) could lead a person to start drinking gin at nine o’clock in the morning, で「人を～に導く、ジンを飲み始めるように、朝の9時に」です。
lead ～ to do で「～が…するように導く、～するようにさせる、～するきっかけを与える」です。
例：lead someone to believe in ～「人に～を信じ込ませる」
start drinking gin で「ジンを飲み始める」
at nine o’clock in the morning で「朝の９時に」です。

and I don’t want to go there. で「そして私はそうはなりたくない」です。
go there は「そこに行く」という意味ですが、この場合は「そういう状況になる」という意味です。
get there とも言えます。
例：I’ve been there.「私も経験したことがあります。」

I would prefer to keep doing this work that I love. で「私はできれば～しつづけたい、大好きなこの仕事を」です。
prefer to do ～ で「～したい、～するほうがいい」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

朝の９時からジンを飲み始めさせる
