So, in addition to actively attending to a speaker’s words, good listeners also use questions and body language that indicate their understanding and their desire to understand.
で「ですので、話者の言葉に積極的に耳を傾けることに付け加えて、有能な聞き手は、理解していることや理解したいという強い気持ちを示すための質問やボディランゲージを駆使します。」という意味になります。

So, ～「ですので、ということで～」
in addition to ～ で「～に付け加えて」
actively attending to a speaker’s words, で「話者の言葉に積極的に耳を傾けること」に付け加えて、です。
attend to ～ は「～の世話をする」という意味もありますが、ここでは「～に注意を払う、しっかり耳を傾ける」です。
例：attend to music「音楽に聴き入る」
actively attend to ～ なので「積極的に耳を傾ける」となります。
a speaker’s words で「ある話者の言葉」です。

それに加えて、
good listeners also use ～ で「有能な聞き手は同時に～も使う」です。
questions and body language で「質問やボディランゲージを」です。
that indicate ～ で「（それらは）～を示す、～を意味する」
their understanding and ～ で「自分たちの理解と～」
their desire to understand で「自分たちの熱望、理解したいという熱望を」です。
つまり理解しているということと、理解したいという強い気持ちを、質問や身振り手振りで示す、ということですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
