で「近年、ますます便利になる生体認証技術や、向上したセキュリティ意識、そして際立ったAIの発達により、世界中の企業はどんどん生体認証技術を採用し始めている。」という意味になります。

In recent years, で「近年、ここ数年で」です。
他にも、Recently, や In these days などが使えます。

主語が長いですね。
the growing convenience ～ artificial intelligence (AI), までが主語になります。
名詞句を列挙した形ですね。

the growing convenience of biometric authentication technology で「高まる便利さ、生体認証技術の」です。
growing は形容詞で「増大している、増えている、高まっている」という意味になります。
例：growing sense of nationhood「高まる国家意識」
biometric authentication technology で「生体認証技術」です。
biometric authentication「生体認証」とは、例えば指紋認証や顔認証、静脈認証などの、人体を使った認証方式のことです。
biometric は「生体の、生物の」という意味です。
bio-（バイオの、生物の）+ metry（測定法）です。

improved security awareness で「向上したセキュリティー意識、セキュリティ意識の高まり」です。
improved は「改善する、向上する」です。
awareness は「気付いていること、認知、～意識」という意味の名詞です。
例：ecological awareness「環境意識」
セキュリティは大事だとみんなが気付き始めているという事です。

and the remarkable development of artificial intelligence (AI) で「そして際立った発展、人工知能の」です。
remarkable development で「目立った発展、際立った発展、顕著な発達」という意味になります。
remarkable はもともと「注目に値する」という意味の形容詞ですね。
remark は「述べる、言う」という意味以外にも「～に気付く、注目する」という意味があります。
artificial は「人造の、人工の」です。
アクセントに注意しましょう。アー・ティ・[フィ]・シャォとなります。

have driven companies around the world to ～ で「世界中の企業に～するように駆り立てている」です。
driven は drive の過去分詞形。
drive ～ to do で「～に…するように駆り立てる」となります。
companies around the world で「世界中の企業」です。

何をするように駆り立てているのかというと、
to begin adopting biometric authentication technology. で「生体認証技術を採用し始めるように」です。
begin ～ing で「～し始める」です。
adopt は「～を採用する、取り入れる」です。また「養子にする」という意味もあります。
ちなみに似ている語でよく使われる、adopt と adept の意味はなんでしょう？
