で「アジアは科学技術において侮れない一勢力だ。ここ十年で、アジアは世界中のテック系企業の増収の52%を占めるまでになった。さらに、マッキンゼー・グローバル・インスティテュートの新しい研究によると、スタートアップ企業の資金調達額の43%、研究開発費の51%、特許出願数の87%を占めている。アジアはどうやってこの地位に至ったのか、また世界の他の地域の国々にとってアジアの成功はどんな教訓を持つのだろうか。」という意味になります。
Asia is a technological force to be reckoned with.で「アジアは、科学技術の勢力だ、一目置かれるべき（勢力だ）」です。
a technological force で「科学技術の一勢力」です。
force は「軍隊、軍事力、力」などの意味がありますがここでは「勢力」という意味合いです。
例：a new political force「新しい政治勢力」
～ to be reckoned with は決まり文句的に「一目置かれるべき～、あなどれない～」という意味になります。
直訳すると「計算に入れられるべき」という意味です。
reckon レクンで「～を計算に入れる、考えに入れる、～だと考える」という意味の動詞です。
例：person to be reckoned with「侮れない人」
Over the last decade, 「ここ十年で」
decade [デ]ケイドゥは「10年」です。
century「100年」と millennium「1000年」とセットで覚えておきましょう。
the region has accounted for 52% of global growth in tech-company revenues で「その地域は52%を占めた、世界のテック企業の収益増加の」です。
the region「その地域」とは Asia のことを指して（言い換えて）います。
account for ～ はここでは「（数値・割合）～を占める」です。
growth in ～ で「～における増加、～における成長」です。
何の増加かというと、
tech-company revenues で「テック企業の収益」です。
tech-company とは technology company のことですがいわゆるGAFAや、ネット系、AI関連などの企業をさします。日本ではIT系と言ったりもしますね。
revenues は「入ってくる全てのお金」のことです。そこには sales「売り上げ」も含まれます。

さらに、
43% of startup funding, で「スタートアップの資金調達額の43%」です。
startup funding とは、上場を目指す小規模な企業（スタートアップ企業）に、ベンチャーキャピタルなどが出資（funding）することを言います。
51% of spending on research and development, で「研究開発費の51%」です。
spend on ～ で「～に（お金や時間を）費やす」という意味になります。
research and development は R&D とも言って「研究開発」という意味です。
and 87% of patents filed, で「特許出願の87%」です。
patent filed で「出願された特許」です。file はここでは「提出する、出願する」という意味の動詞です。
according to new research by the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI). で「マッキンゼー・グローバル・インスティテュートの新しい調査によると」です。
according to ～ で「～によると」という意味の言い回しです。
How did Asia get here? 「どうやってアジアはここへ到達したのか」です。
get here で「ここまで来る、ここまで到達する」です。
このように get には「着く、達する」という意味があります。
and「そして」
what lessons does its success hold for the rest of the world? で「その成功は、どんな教訓を持つだろうか、世界のアジア以外の地域にとって」です。
its success で「その成功」です。its は「アジアの」という意味です。
hold lessons for ～ で「～にとって教訓になる」という意味の言い回しです。
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

「Over the last decade」について、「ここ数十年で」と訳されていますが、
「Over the last decades」なら、「ここ数十年で」と訳しても良いと思いますが、
「Over the last decade」とdecadeが単数なので、「ここ十年で」の方が良いと思いますが、どうでしょうか？
