asteroid は「小惑星」です。
ちなみに「惑星」は planet、「彗星」は comet ですね。
have a chance of ～ing で「～する可能性がある」という意味のコロケーション。
何の可能性があるかというと、
(of) smacking Earth in 2032, で「2032年に地球を直撃する（可能性）」です。
smack は「～をひっぱたく、ピシャリと打つ」です。
冠詞が付かない Earth は「（天体としての）地球」です。
the Earth「（我々が住むこの）地球」、earth だと「大地、地上」です。
