We all get meaning from our communities. Whether our communities are houses or sports teams, churches or music groups, they give us that sense we are part of something bigger, that we are not alone; they give us the strength to expand our horizons.
で「私たちは皆、自分たちのコミュニティから意味や生きがいを得ています。そのコミュニティが家庭であれ、スポーツチームであれ、教会であれ、音楽グループであれ、コミュニティは私たちに、自分がより大きな何かの一部であり、決して一人ではないのだという感覚を与えてくれます。そして私たちが視野を広げていくための力を与えてくれるのです。」という意味になります。

We all get meaning from our communities.「私たちは皆、自分たちのコミュニティから意味を受け取っている。」です。
Whether our communities are houses or sports teams, churches or music groups, で「そのコミュニティが、家庭、スポーツのチーム、教会、音楽グループであれ」です。
whether ～ or … で「（それが）～であれ…であれ」という意味の言い回し。
they give us that sense (that) ～「それらは私たちに（～という）あの感覚を与えてくれる」です。
同格のthat で「～という（あの感覚）」です。
(that) we are part of something bigger,「私たちがより大きな何かの一部である（という感覚）」です。
, (that) we are not alone で「私たちは一人ではない（という感覚）」です。
; they give us the strength to ～「また、それらは私たちに～する力を与えてくれる」
to expand our horizons.「自分たちの視野を広げる（力）」です。
horizon は「地平線」という意味ですが、ここでは比喩で「（人の知識や経験などの）視野、範囲」です。
例：Traveling abroad broadens your horizons.「海外旅行はあなた視野を広げてくれる。」
それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
