アメリカの絵本作家ドクター・スースの言葉です。

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.
で「僕はばかげたことが好きだ。脳細胞を目覚めさせてくれるから。空想は生きていく中で必須要素だ。それは望遠鏡をさかさまにして人生を見る方法だ。僕はそんな風にしてやっている。そうすれば君も人生の現実を笑っていられるようになるよ。」という意味になります。

nonsense は「ばかげたこと」という意味の名詞です。
non- + sense で、この場合の sense とは「分別、判断力、良識」という意味ですね。

wake up brain cells で「脳細胞を目覚めさせる」という意味です。
brain は「脳」、cell は「細胞」という意味です。
cell はほかにも「独房、個室、小部屋」という意味があります。

necessary ingredient で「必須要素、必要な材料、必要な成分」という意味です。
ingredient イングリーディエントは、よく食品パッケージの裏に載っている言葉ですね。
例：ingredient content「成分含有量」

through the wrong end of a telescope で「望遠鏡の逆の方を通して、望遠鏡をさかさまに」という意味です。
この場合の end は「最後」という意味ではなく、「物の端、先端」という意味です。
例：tie the end of a string「ひもの端を結ぶ」
telescope は tele-（遠く）scope（よく見る）です。
tele- は「遠く」という意味の接頭語で、ほかにも television, telephone, telepathy などで使われています。

Which is what I do は、「それが私のしていること」という意味です。
which は前節のことを受けての関係代名詞です。
what I do で「私がしていること」ですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
